Comprehensive Terms & Conditions for Service Use
Understanding Our Service Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between Aurora Surface Renewals Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and the client (“you” or “your”) for the provision of cleaning services. By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Booking and Cancellation
2.1 Booking: Bookings can be made via phone, email, or through our website. We will confirm your booking in writing, and any changes must be agreed upon by both parties.
2.2 Cancellation: You may cancel or reschedule your booking without charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled service. Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the quoted service cost.
2.3 No-Show: If we arrive at your property and are unable to gain access, a no-show fee equivalent to 50% of the quoted service cost will be charged.
3. Services Provided
3.1 Scope of Work: We will provide the services as agreed upon between both parties during the booking process. If any additional services are requested on the day of cleaning they may be subject to additional charges and are at our discretion. Details of these charges will be presented via a new booking or amendment to the existing booking to include the new agreed charges and services.
3.2 Equipment and Materials: We will provide all necessary equipment and cleaning materials unless otherwise agreed with the exception of the water supply which will be obtained by the client (you) via a domestic outdoor tap or other suitable means. You must notify us of any specific requirements or restrictions at the time of booking.
3.3 Service Guarantee: We will carry out work to the best of our abilities and strive for great results. However, If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please notify us within 24 hours, and we will make arrangements to rectify the issue.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing: All prices are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. A full quotation will be provided before the commencement of any work.
4.2 Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by cash or bank transfer.
4.3 Late Payment: If payment is not received within 7 days of the invoice date, we reserve the right to charge interest on the agreed fee at a rate of 8% above the Bank of England base rate until payment is made.
5. Liability
5.1 Damage to Property: We promise to take the utmost care when providing our services. However, in the unlikely event of accidental damage to your property, you must notify us within 24 hours. We will investigate and, if appropriate, arrange for repair or replacement.
5.2 Exclusions: We are not liable for any pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or items of a fragile or high-value nature unless agreed upon in writing prior to the service.
5.3 Force Majeure: We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, extreme weather conditions, or governmental restrictions.
6. Health and Safety
6.1 Access: You must ensure safe and clear access to the areas where the cleaning services are to be performed. Any hazards or specific health and safety requirements must be communicated to us before the commencement of the service.
6.2 Pets and Children: Please ensure that pets and children are kept away from the work area during the service to avoid any accidents or interference with the cleaning process.
7. Confidentiality and Data Protection
7.1 Confidentiality: We will keep all information regarding your property and services confidential and will not disclose it to any third party without your prior consent unless required by law.
7.2 Data Protection: We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and any other applicable data protection legislation. Your personal data will be used only for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
8. Termination
8.1 Termination by Us: We reserve the right to terminate our services with immediate effect if you breach these Terms & Conditions, if payment is not made, or if we feel that the working conditions are unsafe.
8.2 Termination by You: You may terminate our services at any time, provided you give at least 48 hours’ notice. Termination within 48 hours of a scheduled service will be subject to the cancellation fee outlined in section 2.2.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you in writing and will take effect immediately.
